On January 18, along with a long whistle, the 75010 China-Europe freight train carrying 50 40-foot containers slowly departed from Quanzhou East Railway Station, all the way to the north through the Manzhouli port, and finally arrived in Moscow, the capital of Russia. The trip is 10,960 kilometers and is expected to take 20 days.

This is the first China-Europe train from Quanzhou, Fujian, the starting point of the "Maritime Silk Road" and hometown of overseas Chinese.

It is understood that the China-Europe train is mainly equipped with Quanzhou light industrial products such as sanitary products, luggage, shoes and clothing and handicrafts. The goods are inspected and released at the Jinjiang International Land Port.

The launch of the China-Europe Railway Express from Quanzhou to Moscow has opened up a new freight express channel from the southeast coast to Moscow. Compared with the original shipping method, the transportation time can be more than doubled, allowing more overseas Chinese to import and export. Enterprises enjoy the convenience of taking the China Railway Express "at the doorstep".

It also realizes the seamless connection between "Sea Silk" and "Lusi", which will help Quanzhou strengthen economic and trade exchanges with countries along the "Belt and Road", promote "Made in Quanzhou" to the world, and help Quanzhou's high-quality foreign trade development.
