Charlotte Kalla could hardly believe her ears when she heard that winter looks to be a month shorter in many winter sports resorts in Europe.

- How much shorter, you said?

One month.

- It's crazy a lot.

Just as several other winter athletes SVT Sport has spoken to, Kalla is worried about the future of winter sports, given climate change.

- I wish that children and young people in the future will also have the chance to try skiing, because it is absolutely fantastic, she says.

"There will be no skiing left"

Jens Burman is also concerned about the figures, which are based on the current development with a three degree warmer world in about 70 years.

- It's worrying.

There will be no skiing left then, he says and continues:

- I think I have noticed only in the years I have been active that it has become shorter where I live.
