Belgian Eden Hazard is not part of Carlo Ancelotti's plans for this season, and Real Madrid is ready to part with the former Chelsea striker in the current winter Mercato.

Although the Belgian international traveled to Saudi Arabia with the rest of his colleagues, he did not participate in any of the two matches that "Merengue" played in the Spanish Super Cup, in which he was crowned.

Belgian media reports indicate that Hazard's departure could happen in the coming days, but Los Blancos realize that it will not be easy to find a club that can cover his salary for the remainder of the season.

However, Real Madrid considers that Hazard's current position is not optimal for the player or the club, and although he may not have caused problems in the dressing room, not including him in matches may lead to complications, the team is currently indispensable.

Ancelotti does not depend on Hazard

Hazard barely participated in the celebrations after Real's victory in the Super Cup.

The 31-year-old is behind Marco Asensio and Rodrigo Goes in Ancelotti's list of selections after Vinicius Jr. has established himself in the starting lineup this season.

Hazard played 45 minutes in Getafe after starting in 3 consecutive matches against Cadiz, Athletic Bilbao and Alcoyano, but he failed to convince Ancelotti of his level.

With Asensio's injury and Gareth Bale's long absence, Ancelotti may give Hazard a new opportunity to prove himself in the King's Cup match against Elche on Thursday, but his future at the Bernabeu is still unclear.

Newcastle show

What confirms Hazard's desire to fight until the last breath to stay in the Spanish capital, is his rejection of an offer made by Newcastle after Real agreed to it.

Newcastle is looking to strengthen its strength during the transfer period in the winter Mercato, as it seeks to stay in the English Premier League, and they made an offer of 40 million euros to include the player in addition to the variables and rewards.

Hazard is looking to move to a club that participates in the Champions League, and with Newcastle staying away from that at the moment, it was not a realistic proposal for the Belgian star.
