Doosan baseball pitcher Yoo Hee-gwan, who achieved 101 victories while throwing a slow ball, announced his sudden retirement.

Yoo Hee-kwan is a pitcher who realized the 'aesthetic of slowness' while throwing a slow fastball with an average speed of less than 130 km/h, while playing tricks on batters with exquisite control.

He played 11 seasons at Doosan alone and recorded 101 victories in his career. Last year, he chose to retire at the age of 36 after showing a slump with only 4 wins and a 7-point ERA.

[Yoo Hee-kwan / Doosan Pitcher: I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the fans who have always supported me.

I will live my life without forgetting the love I received through baseball.]
