Peng Shuai accused China's former Deputy Prime Minister Zhang Gaoli of sexually abusing the social media platform Weibo.

The post was quickly deleted.

It's been a while since there was news about Shuai and it is unclear if she is free or not.

- I have not heard any news.

"I'm not sure if it's worrying or not, Osaka said after the first round of the Australian Open.

"Proud of the WTA"

The tennis organization WTA has previously expressed that they are concerned about Peng Shuai's health and are not convinced by the few statements she has made.

Naomi Osaka praises the WTA's actions in this matter.

- I think WTA, the entire organization, has handled the issue very well.

I'm very proud of them.

I feel that this is a situation that we need more information about, which is very difficult.

I think everyone is waiting for news, she says.

Peng Shuai has earlier in his career won the double at both Wimbledon and the French Open.
