It was in May 2021 that Klara Lundquist left Alvik to play in Arka Gdynia.

But already after six months, she left the club to focus on her studies at the School of Business, she told SVT Sport.

Just over a week later, it is clear that the national team star will combine his studies with games for Södertälje.

- It is always difficult to make such decisions really.

This time it felt good because it is a more long-term plan for me.

It's fun - and fun for the club.

There has been talk of building a much stronger team and being able to compete at the top again, Lundquist says to Länstidningen in Södertälje.

The contract extends over the 2024 season.

Södertälje is currently the jumbo in SBL after only three victories this season.

- I hope I can contribute with a little re-ignition.

I think it took a lot of strength and confidence during the season.

But I think they had an incredible amount of bad luck.

I hope it can turn around now, she says.
