On January 15, 20 days before the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics, the first "Double Olympic Community" landed on Dongsi Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing.
In the morning, the statue of Mr. Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, was unveiled at the Dongsi Olympic Community Park.
The statue of Mr. Bach is a bust made of bronze. The height of the statue is 72 cm, and the total is about 2 meters with the stand.
So far, the Bach statue in the East Fourth Olympic Community Park and the three statues of Coubertin, Samaranch and Rogge established in 2008 together constitute the "Olympic Figures Group Sculpture".
Dongsi Olympic Community Park, built in 2004, is the first open community park in Beijing with the theme of promoting the Olympic spirit.
In order to welcome the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, a new sculpture combination of the Beijing Winter Olympics mascot "Bingdundun" and the Winter Paralympic mascot "Xue Rongrong" was set up on both sides of the "Holy Torch" sculpture.
