Should Stina Nilsson be allowed to go to the Winter Olympics or not?

As a cross-country skier, she has two games under her belt, most recently in South Korea four years ago, it was a gold, two silver and one bronze.

But as a biathlete, it will be her first.

- In a way, I'm about to experience a third Olympics, but for me it feels like my first.

I am driven by challenges and am constantly inspired by the national team and the coaching and leadership team that I have the privilege of developing together.

I long to experience my first Olympics as a biathlete, says 28-year-old Stina Nilsson.

Proud Brorsson selected

The second remaining place goes to experienced Mona Brorsson, Olympic silver in relay in Pyeongchang 2018. This season, the 31-year-old has had seven individual races among the top 18, with a ninth place as the best before today's hunt start in Ruhpolding.

- I am very happy to go to the Olympics again and extremely proud to succeed in taking a place in this incredibly strong team, says Brorsson.

- In recent weeks, Mona and Stina have shown both me and SOK that they have the capacity to belong to the world top.

I am extremely proud of what the women's team has achieved so far this winter, even when the battle for Olympic places has been in focus, says the biathlon national team's head coach Johannes Lukas.

After today's competitions in Ruhpolding, the biathletes will prepare for the Olympics at high altitude in Italy.

Johanna Skottheim, who has been offered a place as a reserve, will also participate.
