The World Cup competition in Deer Valley was characterized by great Swedish success.

Walter Wallberg and Ludvig Fjällström reached the super final - and the former became the best Swede with a third place behind the Canadian Mikaël Kingsbury and the Japanese Ikuma Horishima.

The placement is Wallberg's fourth podium this season.

He was the first Swede to reach the final when he finished ninth in the qualifiers.

In the final race he landed on 79.91 points and in the super final it was 79.62.

- It's a fantastic hill.

Above all, I took down the jump a bit today.

I did a seven (720) instead of a ten (1080) in the second jump and it was good today so I could pick up a little more points.

I went fast and kept it together, Wallberg said after the competition.

Fjällström accounted for two good jumps and landings in the super final.

After a mistake in the middle section, the performance was enough for a fourth place.

- It's a little sour.

But I'm happy with how I rode and I've ridden better and better throughout the week we've been here.

The form is coming more and more before the Olympics.

It is probably the best ride I have had in me and the highest self-confidence I had before the race, says Fjällström after the race.
