Trust is the most important thing in any relationship, but with the upcoming Winter Games, even couples therapists could be overwhelmed.

The British, Americans and Germans have so little trust in the Chinese Olympic organizers that they are advising their athletes to leave their cell phones at home or at least turn them off.

The Dutch don't give their athletes any choice: China's spies don't stand a chance, Oranje only travels with mobile devices, which are then scrapped.

And how is the International Olympic Committee reacting to the vote of no confidence in the hosts that it has presented to athletes around the world?

No comment, it was said at a question and answer session this week.

No reason to worry.

It was unmistakable.

And maybe even a vote of confidence – towards China.

If this continues over the next few weeks, there might be a medal at the end of the games.

Or a renaming.

In International Neighborhood Committee.
