A strong start for the ninth edition of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy International Showjumping Cup

On its first day, the ninth edition of the Fatima Bint Mubarak International Show Jumping Cup witnessed an exciting start in the presence of 120 elite jockeys who competed in five categories hosted by the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club.

The first day of the championship witnessed competitions in five categories, which started with the CSIYH1 category for young horses, with Syrian jockey Firas Hamama winning first place.

The talent of the young Emirati jockey, Mabkhout Al Karbi, who excelled in the CSICh-A category for children’s jockeys, which witnessed 19 participation, came first in his first attempt on his horse Zandokan Si.

The CSIJ-A category for young riders witnessed 16 participation, with Emirati jockey Abdullah Al Karbi taking first place on his Coral Beach Z horse.

In the first women's competition, CSIL2 category, in one round against time, which witnessed the participation of 35 female riders, the Syrian jockey, Aya Hamsho, won first place.

The conclusion of the first day was with the participation of 22 CSIL2 class jockeys, and the British jockey Georgia Time proved her high heels by winning first place.
