The Board of Trustees thanked His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the National Olympic Committee and President of the Award, for his wise guidance and great care, which enabled the Award to become the most important and largest sports award.
The Council also thanked His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, for honoring the award ceremony by attending and honoring the winners. It is different disciplines in sports work.

As part of the precautionary measures that preserve the safety of athletes, provide them with the opportunity to compete, and represent their countries in the best way.”
He added, "We have extended the nomination dates, taking into account the change in the organization of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo from 2020 to 2021, to give the Arab champions the opportunity to win the Olympics, and win the award as well, which is the role that the award always plays to consolidate the approach of creativity, excellence and initiative in sports work."
