Zhao Weidong, spokesman of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee and head of the press and publicity department, said that the rehearsal, production and rehearsal for the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics are currently underway in an orderly manner.
Taking into account factors such as temperature and epidemic prevention, the opening and closing ceremonies have been adjusted accordingly in terms of duration and structure, integrating theatrical performances and ceremonies, striving for simplicity.
Zhao Weidong said that the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee will make every effort to organize the official performances of the four ceremonies of the Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympic Games.
