“It is with deep sadness that we learned that Ahmet Calik died as a result of a traffic accident.

Our condolences go to his family, relatives, the Konyaspor club and the Turkish football community, ”tweeted the association.

The 27-year-old's car rolled over on a motorway near Ankara, reported the state news agency Anadolu.
