Elsa Fermbäck has been on the podium three times this season and in December she landed in 21st place in the World Cup slalom in Lienz.

Now she gets the chance to compete in the 2022 Olympics.

- It feels really fun, really.

I thought it was run when I missed three races, so it felt very heavy actually.

These were the three chances you had to prove that you have what it takes and I did not get those chances so I thought it was over.

So it was really nice (to get the message), says Fermbäck in a press release.

In addition to Fermbäck, Anna Swenn-Larsson, Sara Hector and Hanna Aronsson Elfman have already been selected.

On the men's side, Kristoffer Jakobsen and Mattias Rönngren will compete.

Fermbäck will compete in slalom.

- It feels really fun and I really want to invest now that I have the chance to do it without having so much pressure.

I have not made such high demands on myself but I think I can make a good result.
