The Paris-Bercy indoor meeting will not take place as planned on January 22 because of the public gauge linked to Covid-19 and a replacement date has not yet been found, said the French Federation of athletics (FFA) this Tuesday.
The FFA prefers not to organize this competition, where the public would be limited to 2,000 people under the gauge set up for three weeks since January 3 by the government (2,000 people indoors, 5,000 outdoors) as part of the measures of the Covid-19 epidemic.
No replacement date has yet been set, just one month away from the French Championships which will take place on February 26 and 27 in Miramas (Bouches-du-Rhône).
