The Spanish club Valencia caused widespread controversy on social media platforms, after indirectly referring to Real Madrid theft of matches by arbitration, after calculating a penalty kick for Real Madrid, in the match that brought them together yesterday, Saturday in the Spanish Football League.

"Theft in Madrid is repeated," Valencia said - in a blog post on his official Twitter account, referring to the famous Spanish series "La Casa de Papel" - which means the house of money - whose latest revolves around theft.

Lo de los robos en Madrid empieza a ser algo repetitivo, @lacasadepapel #RealMadridValencia ⚪🦇

The referee of the match had awarded a penalty kick for Real Madrid in the match yesterday, Saturday, from which Karim Benzema scored the first goal for the team, and also awarded a penalty kick for Valencia, in the meeting that ended with the royal victory 4-1.

Valencia's post received a wide interaction on the communication sites, and Barcelona defender Gerard Pique was the most prominent commentator on it, telling Valencia, "Don't say that out loud, they will punish you."

No lo digáis muy alto que os van a sancionar.

Valencia's accusations and Pique's response angered Real Madrid fans, who criticized the "bat" team after talking about the penalty kick, despite being awarded 3 penalties against Real Madrid in one match last season.

Really don't think this kind of thing is a good look if a club feels hard by, and it's even common.

Also: Valencia were presumably fine with the three penalties they were awarded in their own 4-1 win over Real Madrid last season… https://t.co/ZLCLwVXkhf

A sports journalist commented on Valencia's tweet, saying, "It is assumed that Valencia were satisfied with the three penalties they received in their 4-1 victory over Real Madrid last season."

Bro watches all our games but isn't watching enough tapes to help his team finish in European spots.

Madrid activists attacked the Barcelona defender. Commenting on Pique's post, an activist wrote, "He spends his spare time watching Real Madrid matches looking for things to get angry at. I don't think I've seen a single Real Madrid player tweet about Barcelona at all."

It is noteworthy that Real Madrid got the second penalty kick this season in the Spanish League, scoring two of the team's 45 goals in the competition, which leads its ranking with 49 points.

That's why Real Madrid can't get his normal rights in laliga!

Their crying after each penalty for Real Madrid is the main cause!!

Keep crying my team will keep it up 👌 @realmadriden #HalaMadrid https://t.co/BA5Tk3RX4w

Coming from a team that was given 3 penalties in a single game in the last season, keep crying and wipe those tears https://t.co/AtpHNrPROB

The only robbery that's happening with you is your owner robbing your club for any chance of becoming successful https://t.co/9x3WxDGVye

You were literally gifted 4 last year penalties that lost us the championship https://t.co/ukRUA82aOQ

This guy spends his free time watching Madrid games looking for things to get angry at.

I dont think I've seen a single active Real player tweet about Barca ever https://t.co/7c8IAnDNH1
