The All Japan High School Volleyball Championship was held on the 9th at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo.



For the boys, Yamanashi's Japan Aviation High School, which advanced to the final for the first time, and Kumamoto's Chinzei High School, which won the national high school as a whole last summer, played against each other.



In the match, Chinzei took the first and second sets in a row, but Japan Airlines regained and caught up with the third and fourth sets.



In the final 5th set, Japan Airlines scored 15 to 11 with a block that blocked the opponent's ace and a sharp spike of ace captain Yuhito Maejima, and scored 15 to 11 for the first time with a set count of 3 to 2 in a come-from-behind victory. I won the championship.



Maejima of Japan Airlines said, "I don't really feel it at all, but I'm really happy because I came to this tournament with a painful feeling."



For girls, Okayama's Shujitsu High School, which aims to win the championship for the second time in a row, and Furukawa Gakuen, Miyagi, who aims to win the championship for the first time in 22 years, played against each other.



In the match, Shujitsu took the first set, but dropped the second set 27-29 at the end of the deuce.



From the 3rd set, Shujitsu took the initiative again, shook off the opponent's counterattack and won with a set count of 3 to 1, and won the 4th victory for 2 consecutive years.
