According to Football Italia, the specialist has already held negotiations with the Polish Football Union (PZPN).

The parties came to an agreement according to which Cannavaro must sign a contract for two years.

At the same time, for the Poles there is also an alternative option for the post, namely, ex-Juventus mentor Andrea Pirlo.

The last place of work of Cannavaro was "Guangzhou Evergrande", with which he won the championship of China and the Super Cup of the country.

As a reminder, Poland is Russia's rival in the first round of the 2022 World Cup play-offs.

The game will take place on March 24th.
