[Concurrent] Zhangjiakou "foreign son-in-law" Mo Ke

Hello everyone, I'm Moke from Germany, born in Berlin in 1963. I belong to the year of the Rabbit.

Most of the people around me are related to China and have heard about China since childhood.

[Explanation] Thanks to the two opportunities of the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the hosting of the Winter Olympics, this small northern city surrounded by mountains has opened up a road of internationalization, attracting people from all over the world to come to Zhangjiakou to pursue their dreams.

Mo Ke has lived in China for nearly 40 years.

He is from Berlin and has been associated with China since childhood. He learned Chinese in the 1970s, studied for a master's degree and a Ph.D. in Peking University in the 1980s, and started working in China in the 1990s. He has been engaged in intelligent manufacturing for 25 years as the CEO of a German auto company.

In 2015, due to the opportunity of work, Mo Ke established a cooperative relationship with Zhangjiakou, and since then became attached to it.

After coming to China for many years, Mo Ke gained love and became a son-in-law of Zhangjiakou.

As a son-in-law of Zhangjiakou, I think I must do something for Zhangjiakou.

Because I am interested in Zhangjiakou, I have been paying attention to the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and (I) also live in Beijing, so it is more convenient for me to go to Zhangjiakou.

[Commentary] Mo Ke has loved music since childhood, is proficient in a variety of musical instruments, and has more than 100 original Chinese songs.

During his stay in Zhangjiakou, Mo Ke formed a local band called "Outside the Great Wall" and released 12 original songs on the theme of the Winter Olympics, including "Meeting in the Winter Olympics" and "Snow Mountains Harmony".

I found a few good friends in Zhangjiakou, and organized a band, specializing in the theme of the Winter Olympics. We called it "Outside the Great Wall". The core band was all Zhangjiakou people, and I was the only foreigner.

I think Zhangjiakou is already my second hometown, so I also think I am from Zhangjiakou.

[Commentary] Mo Ke, who is recording a short video, plays and sings, and uses a song he wrote and composed to describe the Winter Olympics and Zhangjiakou in his eyes to the world.

Mo Ke speaks fluent Chinese, knows a lot of idioms, sayings, and also some Chinese poems. During the conversation, he will occasionally come up with some popular Internet buzzwords.

Generally speaking, I write something more sunny, so it is more suitable for writing the Winter Olympics. It is not difficult for me, I just want to make people happy, (for example) to write a chorus, we consider this rhythm must be touching, Then the language should not be too complicated.

[Commentary] Beijing joined hands with Zhangjiakou to win the right to host the 2022 Winter Olympics, allowing Mo Ke to see the opportunities brought by ice and snow.

Mo Ke felt that Zhangjiakou had an authentic taste unmatched by other cities.

He is very happy to see that the former Zhangku Avenue has ushered in a new historical opportunity, and the cultural fusion of Han, Mongolia and Manchu has now become the meeting point of international ice and snow sports.

On the one hand, we make some Chinese songs to encourage everyone to work hard to make the Winter Olympics well, and (on the other hand) we also show foreign friends what kind of place we (Zhangjiakou) are.

[Explanation] Only by seeing it with your own eyes can you truly understand China.

Zhangku Avenue once brought Zhangjiakou's rich business culture to all parts of the world, and the Winter Olympics will also become the best connection point between Zhangjiakou and the world.

To this end, Mo Ke established a cultural media company, shot a lot of short videos promoting Zhangjiakou, and posted them on the Internet.

At present, Mo Ke is telling the story of Zhangjiakou to the world as the director of Zhangjiakou International Cooperation and Exchange Center Co., Ltd.

In addition to the Winter Olympics, the theme that everyone is most interested in, we also think it is a good opportunity to introduce each district and each county in (Zhangjiakou), so that everyone can understand the rich culture of Zhangjiakou.

[Explanation] In Mo Ke's view, the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics is not only a sports event, but also an important opportunity for the development of renewable energy and environmentally friendly energy in Zhangjiakou.

Due to the restrictions due to the epidemic, many friends cannot come to Zhangjiakou. We are now doing more in short videos and more introductions in programs.

I think the promotion and introduction of this kind of short video is more important, and considering (to) the development of Zhangjiakou, my second hometown, we also hope (to leave a very deep impression on the world).
