Sweden should actually have started its preparation phase for the European Championships in Slovakia on Monday.

But after several players tested positive for covid-19, the team has been isolated.

On Wednesday, the players finally got to train together.

- When you see the infection rates in Europe now, you feel that you should be lucky not to get infected in the team.

You were prepared for that, but you still get tired, sad, angry and all at once.

It does not help, however, so you can just try to find your way back to what you did a year ago and keep a cool head and prepare as best you can.

Andreas Palicka:

- It is a world we have learned to live in. There is not much to think about but we have to handle the situation and make the best of it.

Now we just ask to avoid more cases.

What will it be like to step into a championship and have some weight on your shoulders?

- I enjoy more when I do sports.

It gives me a lot of energy and it can also be seen in - my game.

I usually joke that I am a 30 percent handball goalkeeper and 70 percent emotional.

I live with and pump my body full of adrenaline to perform as well as possible.

Off the court I am a calm family man, but on the handball court I change gears.

I have become confident in that role and in that way of being.
