German coach admits to forging certificate of vaccination against "Corona"

The former coach of the German football team Werder Bremen (second division) Marcus Anfang admitted that he had forged a certificate of vaccination against the emerging corona virus, which cost him his position.

Today, a spokesman for the Prosecutor in Bremen said that Anfang's lawyer spoke about the incident and admitted it, confirming reports published earlier in the newspaper "Bild" and the German portal "Dischstube".

Anfang resigned as coach of Werder Bremen in late November, following an investigation into a criminal complaint filed by the Bremen Health Office, which discovered irregularities in the coach's vaccination certificate.

Anfang initially denied the allegations.
