A new Rugby Club Toulonnais match postponed because of the Covid-19?

The Var club announced on Tuesday afternoon that new players in the workforce tested positive on Monday.

According to our information, almost twenty Toulonnais had tested positive at the end of last week, which had pushed the National Rugby League (LNR) to postpone the match against Montpellier, scheduled for last Sunday.

The situation is therefore not improving on the Toulon side with these new positive cases, but the club, "despite the constraints related to absences and the difficulty of organizing training in optimal conditions, keeps the players active in order to prepare at best the next deadline ”.

A next deadline scheduled for Saturday (5 p.m.) against La Rochelle, which could be postponed by the LNR.

"The National Rugby League has all the necessary elements to decide on the holding of the match Toulon - La Rochelle", advance the RCT, which will not count on the return of its players tested positive at the end of the week, that Friday, that is to say the day before the meeting.
