Al-Wahda eliminates Al-Nassr from the Professional Cup.. Shabab Al-Ahly will face Al-Ahly in the semi-finals

Al-Wahda set up a date with Al-Ahly youth in the semi-finals of the Professional Cup, by defeating Al-Nasr 2-0 in the match that took place between them today, Tuesday, at Al Nahyan Stadium in the capital, Abu Dhabi.

The first leg match between the two teams ended in a goalless draw.

Al Wahda ended its affairs in the first half by scoring two winning goals through Joao Pedro (15) and Khalil Ibrahim (17).

Al Annabi performed his best this season, thanks to the brilliance of his Brazilian striker Pedro, whose French coach Gregory found him the appropriate way of playing with Khalil Ibrahim and Mansour Al-Harbi on both sides and behind them Tahnoun Al Zaabi.

This offensive combination contributed to Al-Wahda pressing from the first minute, with which Khalil missed a real chance to score when he singled out the goal and played the ball next to the left post.

"Ibrahim" missed another chance by himself, and goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Tamimi saved it, turning the ball into a corner.

But Pedro took advantage of the first opportunity that came to him, when he received a pass into the box and dribbled around Jacob Hassan and hit the ball with his left into the net.

And then, less than two minutes later, Khalil Ibrahim managed to add the second goal after a perfect pass from Tahnoun Al Zaabi, after which he was singled out for the goal, and put the ball to the right of the victory guard.

Pedro missed an unlucky chance at the end of the first half, when he hit a ball from inside the box that bounced off the crossbar and turned into a corner kick.

Al-Nasr did not show any reaction in the second half, and goalkeeper Rashid Ali did not threaten any attempt during the second half, unlike Al-Wahda, which continued its offensive activity, as Tahnoun Al-Zaabi could add a goal from a fixed kick on the edge of the box, which passed next to the post.
