Skuru's end of the past year meant the season's first loss after an impressive suite, when the table was defeated away in Skövde with 33-28.

But in the first match of the new year, the reigning champion team got their revenge at home in Nacka, even though it was quite far inside.

Because with key players away, including team captain Daniela de Jong, Skuru felt somewhat unfocused in the first half and had a total of 12 technical errors.

At the same time, Önnered was effective and went on to a three-ball lead at half time, 15-12.

Found the flow in the second half

But then in others, Skuru came out with a completely different sharpness and was - just like several times earlier this season - strong in the final stages of the match.

The home team quickly caught up with Önnered's lead and was eventually able to walk away.

The best goal scorer in Skuru was the Finnish national team player and left winger Ellen Voutilainen with seven balls.

- When others are missing, you have to step forward.

I think we found a game that worked based on the players on the field, says Voutilainen in C More's broadcast.

Next in line for Skuru awaits the final of the Swedish Cup against Skara, which is broadcast on SVT, which is scheduled to be played in two days.
