Liverpool sings of Mohamed Salah... a royal performance

Liverpool praised its Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, after his success in scoring in his first match of the new year, by shaking Chelsea, on Sunday, at the top of the 21st stage of the English Premier League.

Salah scored the second goal for Liverpool, in the 26th minute, from a narrow angle after he manipulated Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso, after an elaborate through pass in the back of the defense from Trent Alexander-Arnold.

And Liverpool wrote in his comment on Salah's goal against Chelsea: "A new year? Nothing new for the Egyptian king... the same royal performance as we have always promised."

The match ended in a 2-2 draw between Liverpool and Chelsea, but Salah achieved, thanks to his goal, a new record, as he was unique in being the most player in the history of Liverpool to score goals in London stadiums with 14 goals to break his partnership with the legend of "Reds" Steven Gerrard (13 goals).
