Kazuyoshi Miura, the oldest active soccer player in the J-League, has indicated his intention to transfer from Yokohama FC to Suzuka Point Getters, a JFL based in Mie Prefecture.

Miura, who played for J1 Yokohama FC last year, enjoyed the first soccer of the new year in Shizuoka City, his hometown, with the players of the club team he belonged to when he was a child.

After this, Miura said in an interview with the press about the new transfer destination, "Almost 100% of the team has agreed with my intention. I want to talk to everyone in a solid form soon." He announced his intention to transfer to JFL's Suzuka Point Getters, which is based in Mie Prefecture.

Suzuka Point Getters is a team belonging to JFL, which is the lower part of the J League, and from the middle of last season, Miura's older brother Yasutoshi Miura has been appointed as manager and general manager, aiming to be promoted to J3.

Miura General Manager, who enjoyed playing soccer with Miura, said, "I haven't signed yet, but I'm making the final adjustments and I think I can give a good report to everyone. I have to make sure he can play well in the near future. I don't think it should be done, "explained the current state of negotiations.

Regarding the transfer of Miura, Yokohama FC asked for a contract extension, and eight teams such as the J League and JFL have indicated their intention to win.
