The Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation issued a special report today on its most prominent local, continental and international championships and the achievements made in terms of spreading and developing the game in 2021, as well as at the level of winning medals at all levels, which amounted to 71 colored medals between continental and international teams for men's and women's teams.

In addition, the report sheds light on the UAE's success in hosting 4 continental and international tournaments with a total of 9,000 players.

Al Dhaheri stressed that 2021 was the year of excellence and record-breaking, as Abu Dhabi constituted a base station for thousands of jiu-jitsu professionals who flocked to it from all over the world to compete for the most expensive international titles, which is a basic base on which their professional career rests, noting that the most prominent gains of 2021, It is the emergence of a new generation of Emirati talent on which hopes will be built for the next decade, and it will certainly be able to represent the national teams in its different age groups and translate the federation’s vision, into achievements on the ground by consolidating the leadership of the UAE jiu-jitsu globally, and Abu Dhabi’s position as the home of the game and the capital of decision and achievement of global goals for this sport.
