Anna Swenn Larsson had her entire last year's season ruined due to a broken ankle and at the premiere in Levi in November, she did her first competition in 21 months.

In today's World Cup slalom competition in Lienz, Swenn Larsson was ninth after the first run but did not manage to pick any places.

Instead, the Swede lost and finished eleventh-

- The tempo is not really there, I'm a little surprised by it actually, says SVT Sports expert Pernilla Wiberg.

Hector picked up six placements

Swenn Larsson was 1.63 behind the winner Petra Vlhova, Slovakia.

Katharina Liensberger was second and Michelle Gisin third.

The best Swede was instead Sara Hector who started the season strong with three podium places in the parade branch giant slalom.

In Lienz, she showed that form is also found in slalom.

Hector, who was in 16th place after the first run, started spotlessly but a big miss at the end of the hill became costly.

Despite that, she picked up six places and finished in tenth place - 1.60 after Vlhova.

Fermbäck lost in the second run

The big surprise in the first run, Elsa Fermbäck, was eight before the second run but there the pace was too low and she finished 21st.

- I would have liked to see a little more initiative in the entrances on the turns, says Wiberg.

Fourth Swede in the second race, Moa Boström Müssener, finished 26th.

Charlotta Säfvenberg was 34th in the first run and did not advance.

Nor did Hanna Aronsson Elfman, Liv Ceder and Magdalena Fjällström, who all drove out.
