Andreas Brännström replaces Anders Torstensson as coach in Mjällby.
Torstensson was allowed to leave despite the team doing well in the Allsvenskan this autumn and becoming a table runner.
“Andreas is a coach that we have been aware of for a long time.
An incredibly football-savvy and driven football coach.
Football is about winning and he has previously proven that he is skilled at getting his teams to do ", says sports director Hasse Larsson in a statement.
"We also value his view on also developing players individually and together with the rest of the management staff, we have a strong belief that this can be very good."
Brännström also has a past as a coach in Dalkurds FF, where he, among other things, led the team to the promotion to the Allsvenskan 2017.
