Owen Power is one of JVM's biggest stars.

The hill was first chosen in the draft 2021 by the Buffalo Sabers and the 19-year-old was also involved and won World Cup gold in Latvia earlier this year.

In Canada's JVM premiere against the Czech Republic, he showed why there is so much talk about him.

Power had a great show and scored a hat trick in the 6-3 victory.

- He proves what enormous power he possesses.

He has full control of the puck and scores three goals, which may not be common.

He plays everyday at the University of Michigan and may not be known as a giant goal scorer but scores three goals.

He really takes the opportunity to show his greatness, says SVT expert Håkan Loob.

Shocked the home nation

Canada won the match but initially the Czech Republic offered a shock opening.

Canada took the lead early but the Czech Republic responded with three goals in five minutes to the great surprise of the home crowd.

But much thanks to Power's three goals, they managed to turn around and take a planned victory.

Next, the match against Austria for Canada awaits the night before Wednesday 01.00.
