Charlotte Kalla is currently preparing for the Tour de Ski where the competitions will be decisive for whether she gets an Olympic place or not.

At the same time, the results have not really been with her lately.

But despite this, Kalla says, the day before the Tour de Ski premiere, that she is not as depressed as some seem to think.

- Sometimes I can experience that there are many who think it is a single black darkness and I am so sad.

But I feel very good in life, says Charlotte Kalla to SVT Sport.

- But it's not fun to compete when it's not flowing.

Skiing is a big part of my life but I get amazed every time at how much it involves.

But I am incredibly happy that there are so many who look beyond the results and want me to feel good too.

I am not my results.

"The answers will come"

It is a seemingly calm and collected Kalla who charges before the premiere.

She has been in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, during Christmas and trained.

- The answers will come during the Tour de SKi.

I have focused on getting a good workout.

Even though you would like to be out and about in the valleys for a long time, it is important to be strict and do what you are supposed to.

It has felt good in the end.

It's great to be able to notice the difference from week to week.

But how it will go at the competitions is written in the stars, says the 34-year-old.

Although her results in the Tour de Ski will determine whether she gets the chance in the Olympics, Charlotte Kalla says that is not what she is thinking about right now.

- It's not the Olympics I focus on.

Now it's to enjoy the tour and all the opportunities that are here.

SVT broadcasts the Tour de Ski from Lenzerheide.
