Yuzuru Hanyu, who participates in the All Japan Championship of Figure Skating, made final adjustments at the match venue ahead of the short program of the first half of the men's single that will be held on the night of the 24th.

The All Japan Championships in figure skating will also be held as a representative selection for the Beijing Olympics, and on the 24th, the first half of the men's singles and pairs will be held.

Hanyu, who will be the first match of the season for the All Japan Championship due to an injury to his right ankle, started the final adjustment for about 30 minutes at the match venue from 10 am before the evening short program.

Hanyu started to slide slowly to check the feel of the ice, and then repeatedly jumped the quadruple toe loop and triple axel to check the feeling.

In the practice of playing the songs of the short program, I checked the jumps and choreography on the piano songs played by the pianist Shinya Kiyozuka, who will be using this season.

I did not practice the quad accelerator (= 4 and a half jumps) that I showed in the practice on the 23rd.

The men's single short program will start around 4:30 pm on the 24th, and Hanyu will perform at around 7:40 pm.

Hanyu has indicated his intention to participate in the Beijing Olympics, which had not been revealed so far at the press conference after the practice on the 23rd, and after that remark, the first performance will be noticed.
