Egypt hosts the President's Cup for Arabian horses today

Today, the Al-Jazira Sports Club racecourse in Cairo will host the 13th leg of the 28th President of the State Cup series for purebred Arabian horses, as part of the racing program of the first ceremony of the Supreme Authority for Horse Racing in Egypt for the winter season.

The series of races is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Affairs The presidency, with the aim of raising the purebred Arabian horse, and contributing to supporting plans to preserve its historical march, in line with the vision and approach of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace. The festival will witness the participation of 41 horses, representing the elite Egyptian horses, which announced their readiness to challenge and compete for the titles of six races, with prizes amounting to 590 thousand Egyptian pounds, which supports the consolidation of the noble message of the series of races, and its rich goals in support of horse owners and breeders in all countries of the world.
