It completely rained medals over the Swedish ladies at the World Short Course Championships in Abu Dhabi.

As many as twelve medals meant a new Swedish record in this context.

Despite the fact that the championship ended just a couple of days ago and Louise Hansson came home with a total of seven medals, three individual and four in team competition, she is already looking forward to the next championship.

- As an athlete, you set new goals as soon as you have finished in the last race really, so it is already the long-distance World Cup that is the next focus, she says in Morgonstudion.

But first, a few days off and a trip west for Christmas celebrations with the family await.

- We actually get on the plane tomorrow morning to celebrate in the US where our brother is studying in college, so the whole family is gathered in the US, says Sophie Hansson.

A well-deserved rest for the sisters who have an impressive year in the pool behind them.

In addition to the successes at the short-band WC, they both took their first individual medals in long distance at the EC this spring and also had good places at this summer's Olympics.
