Before the short track WC, Sarah Sjöström stood on eleven WC golds, one smaller than what Therese Alshammar got together during her career.

But after three new gold medals in Abu Dhabi, she is now the one who has won the most races in the World Cup ever among Swedish swimmers.

The 28-year-old took an individual gold (50 meters freestyle) and two in team competition (4x50 meters medley and 4x100 meters medley) and now stands at a total of 14 World Cup golds so far in his career.

- It's absolutely fantastic.

I'm so proud of the girls who have performed so well.

We have had a very intense competition autumn, so to be able to finish this year in this way is really a dream, she says about the championship in the Morning Studio.

- I have been in very good shape all season, so it is clear that you have high expectations when you come to a World Cup then.

There were a total of seven medals for Sarah Sjöström and twelve for Sweden during the short track world championships.
