And the year 2021 began with the crowning of the Moroccan team in the African Championship for Local Players organized in Cameroon, after its victory in the final in Yaounde over Mali 2-0, and before that, Morocco beat Cameroon in the semi-finals 4-0 and defeated Zambia 3-0 in the quarter-finals. .

This is the second successive continental crown for the local team, which failed in the Arab world, despite the ideal start in the group stage of the Arab Cup in Qatar, by achieving 3 victories over the teams of Palestine, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. 2-2 against Algeria, which later won the title for the first time in its history.

Morocco national football team
