Kuzmin: I will not talk about contracts before I meet Baniyas and the Emirates

Sharjah Romanian coach Cosmin Olario said in a press statement after yesterday's match in Hatta in the President's Cup, that he will not "currently talk about the upcoming contracts in January, or about bringing in new players, before playing the next two matches of the ADNOC Professional League, against Baniyas next Sunday in Round 11, then facing the Emirates team in round 12.

Regarding the upcoming confrontation with his former team, Shabab Al-Ahly, in the President’s Cup quarter-final, after yesterday’s victory over Hatta 2-1 in the round of 16, Cosmin confirmed that the team’s upcoming match against Bani Yas is the most important, saying that many things may change before facing Al-Ahly youth.

He added, "I definitely have full respect for the club that I worked in previously, which is a very strong and very skilled team, but I am a professional coach and I have to do my duty in the place I am in, but until that time, there are some many battles that we must fight."

He explained: We have problems that we must solve, and we have shortcomings and absences, and there are players who are not in good form, players are improving, and others are coming back from injuries, and there are many factors that we have to work on.

Kuzmin continued, "I hope to win each match separately and it is not necessary to think about winning tournaments. We need to improve, develop and balance in many things."

"We have the will to win every match and every tournament, but the main thinking is the development of the team first," he added.

Kuzmin considered that winning the trophies is a consequence of the whole work, noting that he has been working with Sharjah for about a month and he does not have a magic wand to change things between day and night.
