The Algerian newspaper, An-Nahar, reported that the tweet in which the famous Tunisian analyst, Tariq Diab, commented on a previous tweet by the Algerian “BN Sport” commentator, Hafeez Draghi, after the “Khidr” were crowned with the Arab Cup title, increased the state of anger and resentment among Tunisian fans. Her anger at Hafeez Al-Darraji, accusing him of insulting Tunisian football, after he published a picture of a group of players from the Tunisian team, who were on the ground, while the Algerian player was standing.

The matter did not go unnoticed, as Diab criticized his colleague on the "BN Sport" channel, commenting in a sarcastic way, "Thank you for your good manners and respect for your colleagues, Hafeez, and congratulations to the Algerian team." The tension moved to the accounts of Tunisian clubs, which criticized Draghi strongly, including the account of the Tunisian Esperance Club.

Many Tunisian tweeters considered that what Draghi had done was very offensive to the Tunisian team, especially the way he chose the image, and his comment, which included irony and contempt for the "Carthage Eagles", as they put it.

Draghi had previously caused a lot of tension within the "BN Sport" family, as he had previously entered into an argument on "Tension" with a number of his fellow Moroccan analysts and commentators, as well as Egyptians and Tunisians also before, due to issues related to "politics". Draghi was also the subject of widespread criticism from Egyptian fans after his “abusive” comment against the Egyptian team players in the Tunisia match, before he apologized for the matter and asserted that his point of view had been misunderstood.
