Sarah Sjöström, Michelle Coleman, Sara Junevik and Hanna Rosvall made sure that the Swedish team won their trial heat in the 4x50 meter freestyle.
The time of 1.36.55 was the third best overall in the trials, the USA was the fastest followed by the Netherlands.
- There were quite a few teams that ironed out so we were not worried, it was just to make safe changes and then move on, says Sarah Sjöström to SVT Sport.
This afternoon, the final, which is broadcast on SVT1 and on SVT Play, awaits both 4x50 meters freestyle and 4x100 meters.
- It was good.
We just all tried to take a place in the final, it will be a hectic evening especially for those who have individual races tonight.
So I just try to focus on spreading positive and good energy to the girls who are tired because it will be tough when we face our last big team race tonight in the 4x100 meter medley, says Michelle Coleman.
