Shim Suk-hee (24, Seoul City Hall), the women's short track team, who caused controversy for abusing and demeaning coaches and colleagues, received a disciplinary action equivalent to disqualification from participating in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

The Korea Skating Federation Sports Fair Committee announced on the 21st that after a disciplinary meeting at the Olympic Park Federation conference room in Songpa-gu, Seoul, it had sentenced Shim Suk-hee to a two-month suspension from the national team.

As a result, Shim Seok-hee is in danger of not being able to participate in the Beijing Olympics, which will begin on February 4 next year.

Shim Suk-hee's participation in the Beijing Olympics has not been completely canceled.

Shim Suk-hee is expected to seek a way to participate in the Olympics by filing a request for a retrial to the Sports Fair Committee of the Korea Sports Council or an application for an injunction to suspend the effect at the court.
