The Football Association, through the list of the President’s Cup competition for the season 2021-2022, has determined the roadmap for the competition, starting with the round of 16, which will start today (Monday), as the matches of this round and the quarter-finals will be played in a single-game losing system, while the semi-final matches are played The home and away system consists of two matches, and the final of one match will be decided later.
The stadiums where the matches of the round of 16 and the quarter-finals will be played were determined by the draw that was held last September.
According to Article 24 of the President’s Cup regulation, when the match in the round of 16 and the quarter-finals ends in its original time with a tie, an additional time of two halves of 15 minutes is calculated for each half, and in the event of a tie remaining, penalty kicks are used.
