Next year's open game of professional baseball will start on February 23, next year, and NPB = Nippon Professional Baseball will hold all games without limiting the number of spectators unless the infection situation of the new coronavirus worsens. I am aiming for that.

On the 17th, NPB announced the schedule for next year's open game.

According to this, a total of 97 games will be played from February 23, next year to March 21, four days before the start of the regular season.

During February, it will be held in Okinawa and Miyazaki prefectures where many teams camp, and from the beginning of March, most of them will be held at the stadium where the 12 teams are based.

Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the match in Okinawa Prefecture, the campsite, became a practice match for no spectators, and admission was restricted for the subsequent open matches.

Regarding next year's open game, NPB aims to hold all games without limiting the number of spectators, and the policy is to allow spectators to be included in the campsites Okinawa and Miyazaki prefectures where the open game will be held. I have confirmed that it is.

For this reason, if the infection situation of the new corona does not worsen, an open battle will be held at the campsite with spectators for the first time in two years.
