The organizing committee said in a statement yesterday: “The delegations of 30 American, Canadian, European, Asian, African and Arab countries translated these sentiments into a tangible reality, with their keenness, each in his own language, from an audio recording saying: (Thank you, Sheikh Hamdan bin Muhammad) for gifting it to His Highness, expressing their noble feelings towards His Highness. And in appreciation of His Highness’ sponsorship and support for the championship.”

The opening day of the Air Tunnel Championship witnessed exciting competitions in the presence of a distinguished audience, who followed the competitions positively and interacted with the performance, whether on the individual, duo, four-way, eight or freestyle levels.

In terms of the eight competition, Russia led after the fourth round of the tournament with 92 points, and in the open quartet, Indonesia came first after the end of the fourth round, with 97 points, and Kuwait topped the open duo competition with 73 points, while Freestyle was the leader after five French rounds Lauri Loeb with 64.5 points.
