As the 50-day countdown to the Beijing Winter Olympics is approaching, the first set of figure skating broadcast exercises co-edited by the China Figure Skating Association and the Chinese Dancers Association was officially released.

This set of broadcast exercises lasts 6 minutes and 24 seconds and has a total of 10 sections. According to the body and motor function, it is divided into warm-up, upper and lower limbs and body posture training, sliding, rotating and jumping special training, comprehensive display, figure skating etiquette and other parts.

The selection and arrangement of movements are closely integrated with the characteristics of figure skating, and the needs of different groups of people are fully considered, so that the physical qualities of the practitioners can be improved in beautiful and easy-to-learn movements.

Shen Xue, chairman of the China Figure Skating Association, said, "According to the different applicable people and different learning purposes, we have produced the official version and the outdoor version. In the past period of time, the outdoor version of figure skating radio exercises has been used in 47 schools and 15 kindergartens across the country. Nearly 50,000 students started learning. The response was enthusiastic and the learning effect was very good. We believe that the figure skating broadcast exercise will play the role of a bridge between land and ice, allowing more people to learn about figure skating and fall in love with figure skating through practice.
