The hope of continued play in the Champions League was already out for Häcken before the last group game match against Lyon.

Then they went on a real bang against the French star team.

Lyon took the lead halfway into the first half through American Catarina Macario.

But it was in the second half that the numbers pulled away.

Norwegian Ada Hegerberg put 2-0 early after the halftime break.

Then Amandine Henry and Janice Cayman followed up with their respective goals and made sure that the final score was written to 4-0.

Häcken had the chance to finish third in the group, but the loss means that they finish last with three points.
