According to Wang Hao, architect of the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tsinghua University, the building of Zhangjiakou Winter Olympic Village adopts a steel frame structure system. It is hardened concrete, filled with thermal insulation materials, and can be prefabricated and assembled on site, which is both soundproof and warm.
