The conflict in the hockey arena continues.

Boden and Karlskrona want to be outside the league because they do not agree to the TV agreement that has been written.

As a result, some teams during the autumn boycotted games in Boden and Karlskrona.

Karlskrona has not yet signed an agreement with hockeyettan, which Boden has done.

And it is the breach of contract that caused the league organization to have the matter decided in an arbitration procedure.

The first arbitration award has been blamed by Boden, and a hearing in the Svea Court of Appeal awaits there in January.

Damages

The second arbitration came on Tuesday.

- Damages amount to SEK 944,676 plus interest on the amounts from April 2 until payment is made.

Boden is then obliged to reimburse all agency fees with SEK 1,030,000 plus interest, says Ronnie Glysing, chairman of Hockeyettan, to NSD.

According to Glysing, the money must be paid in immediately.

"Then you tear everything up"

Boden does not want to comment on the verdict until after Wednesday's board meeting.

However, the club's lawyer Jan Lindén says that the last word has not been said yet.

- The underlying arbitration award has been blamed and we will not see the end of this until ... January 14-17, there are hearing days in the Svea Court of Appeal and the verdict will come a few weeks after that.

It is the complaint that will ultimately determine this case.

It can be said that this is part and a consequence of the first arbitration award that has been blamed, he tells NSD.

If Boden is right in the first arbitration proceedings, it may affect the second arbitration award.

- Then you tear everything up and we get it wrong, the underlying arbitration remains.

What is a bit of a shame is that you have not waited for the blame, says Lindén.
