"International Holdings" and "Abu Dhabi Sports Club" sign an agreement to sponsor the UAE Tour

The Abu Dhabi-based International Holding Company and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council today signed an agreement to sponsor the Emirates Cycling Tour for a period of three years, starting from the 2022 season to 2024.

The Emirates Tour is the only World Tour race in the Middle East, as the track crosses five of the seven emirates from Abu Dhabi through Dubai, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah, all hosting some of the best riders from around the world.

Aref Hamad Al Awani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said: “The International Holding Company’s sponsorship of the UAE Tour for the next three years is an important contribution to the growing sports calendar in the country.

He explained that the event brings the best cyclists from all over the world who provide an up-close view of high performance and serve as great models for the next generation.”


The International Holding Company will be the official sponsor of the races for the next three seasons. This is the second partnership between the global holding company and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council after sponsoring the event. Abu Dhabi cricket team early this year.
