Sergio Ramos: He is ready to "die" so that PSG can beat Real Madrid

The former and historical star of Real Madrid, Spaniard Sergio Ramos, sent a special challenge against the "Royal", promising him defeat when he faced him in the round of 16 with his current team, Paris Saint-Germain.

The draw for the Champions League sparked widespread controversy yesterday, after it was repeated, to announce an upcoming summit between Saint-Germain and Real Madrid next February, with Real playing in Paris and back in Madrid.

Ramos said in a press statement, commenting on the results of the draw, according to what was published by the Spanish newspaper "Marca", that although he would have preferred to face another team, he is ready to "die" in order for Saint-Germain to win against Real Madrid.

He said, "Now it's my turn to offer something to Paris Saint-Germain, I will defend the team with everything I have, and I am ready to fight to the death for Saint-Germain."

He stressed that he is happy with the confidence that the Paris club has placed in him, and his patience with him after the multiple injuries he suffered in the previous period.

"Today, he is a player in Paris, despite his love for the royal and his pride in his long career with him," he said.

It is noteworthy that the relationship between Ramos and the management of Real Madrid, led by Florentino Perez, was strained last season, due to the club’s unwillingness to renew Ramos’ contract for two seasons, as the player had requested, and it ended with the end of his contract last June, after which he moved to Saint-Germain, but he did not find his way To play as he wanted, as he missed for a long time due to injuries.
